Heritage Park is grounded in the restoration of natural systems, where a revitalized ecology and enhanced biodiversity serve as the primary experiential language. The built form follows this ecological underpinning, organized around a restored pond and a vibrant retail streetscape. A central plaza acts as the project’s civic heart, anchoring a public realm that prioritizes a seamless connection with the natural environment.

The design maintains a sensitivity to the scale of the neighboring residential context, transforming the former campus into an essential community amenity. By integrating a network of trails that stitch the site into the existing neighborhood fabric, the project establishes a porous, accessible open space that encourages social interaction and reconnects people with the landscape through a vision rooted in the site's inherent wetland character.
