Chris designed a quaint residential building and its setting within a site of historic and special scientific interest in Cornwall, England. The building's unique character and scale were drawn from the adjacent Cornish cottage architecture.

An open-plan kitchen and living space with a vaulted, double-height ceiling takes advantage of picturesque views of the Restronguet Valley. The living area's double-leaf corner doors open to a garden balcony and lawn terrace constructed using traditional Cornish dry-laid stone building techniques.
