As the lead landscape architect for Boston Legacy FC, Chris worked in close collaboration with the city's design team to reimagine the White Stadium setting within Boston’s historic Franklin Park. The site design carefully mediates Olmsted’s design philosophy with the stadium’s modernist Art Deco architecture.

The framework establishes a new hierarchy for pedestrians and cyclists while creating a critical succession plan for the park’s legacy trees. The planting design restores the historic understory through robust ecological plantings. This approach ensures a durable, context-sensitive environment that reconnects people with a more biodiverse and sustainable park.

Respecting the local community, whose enduring care sustained the park through decades of neglect, was an important part of the vision. The design preserves The Overlook that will establish a permanent new home for the Elma Lewis Playhouse–alongside a flexible new Grove event space and restaurant. The design supports and restores the broader park environment and provides new, much-needed community-focused programming.
